Soprano Anna Netrebko has been employed by the Monte Carlo Opera to sing this month following the Metropolitan Opera’s choice to drop her for neglecting to renounce Russia President Vladimir Putin.
The Monte Carlo Opera said Thursday that Netrebko will sing the lead spot in Puccini’s “Manon Lescaut” in exhibitions on April 22, 24, 27 and 30. The 50-year-old Russian replaces an initially reported Maria Agresta.무료성인야동
Netrebko was to have sung five exhibitions in a restoration of Puccini’s “Turandot” at the Met in New York from April 30 to May 14. She was supplanted by Ukrainian soprano Liudmyla Monastyrska for Turandot and by Italian soprano Eleonora Buratto for a recovery of Verdi’s “Wear Carlo” at the Met from Nov. 3-19.
Netrebko gave an assertion toward the beginning of March that she was “against this silly conflict of hostility and I am approaching Russia to end this war at the present time.” She didn’t straightforwardly specify Putin.
Netrebko, who is from Krasnodar, got the People’s Artist of Russia honor from Putin in 2008. She was shot in 2014 holding a Novorussian banner in the wake of giving a 1 million ruble gift (then, at that point, $18,500) to the show hose in Donetsk, a Ukrainian city constrained by supportive of Russia separatists.
She said in late March she met Putin “just a small bunch of times in all my years, most remarkably on the event of getting grants in acknowledgment of my specialty or at the Olympics opening service.”
“I’m not an individual from any ideological group nor am I aligned with any head of Russia,” Netrebko said in late March. “I recognize and lament that previous activities or proclamations of mine might have been misjudged.”
